Basketball Game Preview: Alcovy Tigers vs. Habersham Central Raiders

The Alcovy Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Habersham Central Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Alcovy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-47 to Clarke Central.

Meanwhile, Habersham Central strolled past Winder-Barrow with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 48-34.

Alcovy has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Habersham Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.

Alcovy strolled past Habersham Central when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 56-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Alcovy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
