Preview: Frankton Eagles vs. Mississinewa Indians
Frankton is 8-1 against Mississinewa since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Frankton Eagles will be playing at home against the Mississinewa Indians at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Frankton beat Blackford 37-32.
Meanwhile, Mississinewa put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 41-10 victory over Elwood. The win was just what Mississinewa needed coming off of a 63-27 defeat in their prior match.
Frankton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Mississinewa, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.
Everything came up roses for Frankton against Mississinewa in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 70-40 win. Does Frankton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mississinewa turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
