Softball Recap: Governor Livingston Comes Up Short

Governor Livingston was the 9-6 winner over Cranford when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Highlanders lost 7-1 to the Cougars on Friday.

Governor Livingston's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Cranford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Cranford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-3 loss against Scotch Plains-Fanwood on the 17th. Hopefully Governor Livingston paid attention to the Cougars' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cougars on Tuesday.
