Everything went their way against the S & S Consolidated Rams on Wednesday as they made off with a 20-2 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Allan Cass made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Logan Sudderth was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Ethan McCarthy was another key player, going 4-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and one stolen base.
