Football Recap: ASHLEY BLANC and ELIJAH ARTHUR Pace Renaissance Academy Defense

Renaissance Academy's game on Saturday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They received a blow as they fell 34-20 to the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams. The Knights have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Renaissance Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of ASHLEY BLANC and ELIJAH ARTHUR.

Myles Koser continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, throwing for 393 yards and four TDs while completing 76.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 69 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries. Those 69 rushing yards gave Koser a new career-high. Axton Koser was Myles' top target, picking up 213 receiving yards and one score.

Renaissance Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Renaissance Academy has already played their next game, a 44-6 defeat against Bristol on the 18th. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech has also already played their next matchup (against Holy Cross), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
