Soccer Recap: Shadow Hills Has No Trouble Against Desert Mirage

The matchup between Shadow Hills and Desert Mirage on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Shadow Hills Knights blew past the Desert Mirage RAMS 7-1. That six goal margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Their offense was hitting Desert Mirage from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Sergio Gomez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Shadow Hills now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Desert Mirage, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shadow Hills will venture away from home to face off against Citrus Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Desert Mirage, they will head out on the road to take on Coachella Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
