Soccer Recap: Flower Mound Comes Up Short

Flower Mound and Coppell squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Flower Mound had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Coppell this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in March.

Flower Mound moved to 15-5-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Coppell, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2-3 record this season.
