Volleyball Recap: South Johnston Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Johnston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southern Lee Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 16-25, 25-22.

South Johnston's offense was headlined by Braylee Maynard and Ellis Reese, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Olivia Bellamy and her 30 assists.

South Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Southern Lee, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
