Industrial put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by  a  12-1 margin over the Brazosport Christian Eagles. The Cobras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 11  runs or more this season.
 Jace Chaney made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Chaney was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sam Kurtz, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  doubles, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Easton Larew, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Industrial  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brazosport Christian struck out nine times.
Industrial's victory was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Brazosport Christian,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Looking ahead, Industrial will face off against Lamar Consolidated at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Brazosport Christian, they will square off against Boling at 2:30  p.m.  on Friday. Brazosport Christian has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
