Basketball Game Preview: Santa Fe Raiders vs. Liberty Chargers

The Santa Fe Raiders will take on the Liberty Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Santa Fe will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Santa Fe is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They escaped with a win against North Marion by the margin of a single free throw, 45-44.

Meanwhile, Liberty was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 45-41 to Bishop Moore.

Santa Fe will need to focus on slowing down Lamar Lee, one of several Liberty players who made an impact when they last played. He posted seven points and seven steals. Lee has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 43 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tasir Best, who had six points and nine boards.

Santa Fe pushed their record up to 16-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points over those games. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.
