Baseball Recap: West Windsor-Plainsboro South Gets the Win

West Windsor-Plainsboro South's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Peddie Falcons by a score of 8-3.

Thor Bernheisel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bernheisel was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Bernheisel wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jonah Kasof, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. Another was Nihan Palla, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

West Windsor-Plainsboro South's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Peddie, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Windsor-Plainsboro South will welcome Shawnee at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Renegades' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Peddie, they will challenge Lawrenceville School at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
