Volleyball Recap: Menlo-Atherton Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Menlo-Atherton had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Los Gatos Wildcats 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won three matches in a row.

While Menlo-Atherton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Los Gatos scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 27-25, 25-23.

Menlo-Atherton found their leader in sophomore Teagan Forcier-Koranda, who had 13 assists and four digs. Forcier-Koranda has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Menlo-Atherton's win bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Los Gatos, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-13.

Coming up, Menlo-Atherton will face off against Milpitas at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Los Gatos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
