Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Wells Raiders

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will face off against the Wells Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Roosevelt's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four contests, but Friday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Roosevelt was beaten by Chicago Sullivan 66-27.

Meanwhile, Wells came up short against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus on Saturday and fell 46-39. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roosevelt will have to keep a close watch on Cornell Barrow and Jacoby Cail, a pair of players who had a big impact on Wells' prior game. Barrow posted 18 points, while Cail put up 15 points. The game was Barrow's fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Wells, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
