Soccer Recap: Palmetto Takes a Loss

Palmetto was the 1-0 winner over Manatee when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Palmetto Tigers fell 2-0 to the Manatee Hurricanes on Wednesday.

Palmetto's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-10-2. As for Manatee, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 9-5-1.

Palmetto will take on Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manatee, they will square off against Out-of-Door Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Out-of-Door Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.
