Baseball Recap: Prescott Comes Up Short

Prescott lost against Arkadelphia back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Prescott Curley Wolves lost 17-6 to the Arkadelphia Badgers.

Prescott saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rhett Bullinger, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Bullinger also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Wes Harper was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Prescott's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Arkadelphia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prescott will venture away from home to take on Parkers Chapel at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arkadelphia, they will head out to face off against Hope at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arkadelphia is facing Hope at the right time seeing as Hope is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
