Basketball Recap: South Ridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cook County last Tuesday, South Ridge came back down to earth. The South Ridge Panthers took a 71-52 bruising from the Two Harbors Agates on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Agates recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

South Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Two Harbors, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

South Ridge will square off against Chisholm at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Chisholm's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches. As for Two Harbors, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-55 win against Crosby-Ironton on the 11th.
