Basketball Game Preview: Rocket City Falcons vs. Bluegrass Blazers

Rocket City hasn't had much luck against Bluegrass recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Falcons will take on the Blazers at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Rocket City's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Rocket City took on Cornerstone Christian on Thursday. The Falcons enjoyed a cozy 60-45 win over the Eagles. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bluegrass, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-65 win over LKY on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blazers have posted since February 15th.

Rocket City's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Bluegrass, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Rocket City took a serious blow against Bluegrass in their previous matchup back in February, falling 86-46. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
