            The Calvary Saints and the Springfield Southeast Spartans will face off  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Calvary has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Calvary is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They blew past Hartsburg-Emden, posting  an  86-42 victory.

It was another big night for  Luke Blackford, who  went 12 of 16  en route to 26  points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists. The  matchup was  his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Reese Huffman, who  almost  dropped  a triple-double on 13 points, nine  boards,  and ten  assists.
 Calvary  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 19  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Springfield Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They fell  51-42 to Decatur Eisenhower. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings  (they are ranked 558th, while the Panthers are ranked 200th).
 Calvary now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Springfield Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
