Volleyball Recap: Darlington Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It's playoff time, and Darlington had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Cuba City Cubans 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Redbirds, who have now won three contests in a row.

While Darlington might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Cuba City scored at least 15 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-23, 25-20, 25-27, 17-15.

Darlington found their leader in freshman Camryn Andrews, who had 22 assists and six digs. Those 22 assists set a new season-high mark for Andrews.

Darlington's victory bumped their record up to 19-15. As for Cuba City, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-14.

Darlington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Marshall on the 25th. Cuba City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
