Volleyball Recap: Grand Prairie Triumphs

Grand Prairie saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Inspired Vision EAGLES.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Grand Prairie was: they took both sets by at least 19 points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-6.

Tahontas Fifield paced Grand Prairie's offense, picking up five kills. Fifield got some help from Jalesa Escamilla and her eight assists. Reese Brouhard and Isabella Garza kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Grand Prairie's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Grand Prairie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Life Oak Cliff on the 14th. As for Inspired Vision, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Ennis on the 16th.
