Basketball Game Preview: Benjamin Franklin Chargers vs. Seton Catholic Sentinels + Official Tickets

Benjamin Franklin is a perfect 3-0 against Seton Catholic since November of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chargers will head out to square off against the Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Monday, Benjamin Franklin was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to Northwest Christian. The matchup marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ethan Sang, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. He has also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 63% every time he's hit the court this season. Brody Hansen was another key player, going 5-for-12 en route to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Seton Catholic put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 64-54 win over Pusch Ridge Christian Academy.

Having lost for the first time this season, Benjamin Franklin fell to 4-1. As for Seton Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Everything came up roses for Benjamin Franklin against Seton Catholic in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 59-31 win. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Sentinels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
