Basketball Recap: Midland Oaks vs. Oak Grove Lizards
Midland unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 43-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Grove Lizards on Wednesday. The Oaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lizards apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.
Miller Cornell had a dynamite game for Oak Grove, scoring 24 points. Evan Wing was another key player, posting 13 points.
As of now, neither Midland nor Oak Grove have any future games scheduled.
