Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ondine Murabet and Chelsea Johnson Lead Freedom to Victory

Freedom barely beat Northwestern Lehigh the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots blew past the Tigers 3-0 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on three straight.

Freedom was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-14.

Leading Freedom to victory were Chelsea Johnson and Ondine Murabet. Johnson had 13 digs and one assist, while Murabet had eight digs and three aces. Those 13 digs gave Johnson a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Northwestern Lehigh still got an impressive performance from Avery Seyler, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Freedom's win bumped their record up to 11-4-1. As for Northwestern Lehigh, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.

Freedom didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Liberty on the 17th. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they will venture away from home to take on Pen Argyl at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
