Baseball Recap: Heartland Christian Takes a Loss

Heartland Christian started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against United. They came up short against the Golden Eagles on Saturday, falling 15-1. The Lions have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Heartland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for United, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heartland Christian will face off against Bristol at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for United, they will challenge David Anderson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
