Volleyball Recap: Spring Hill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Spring Hill was the 3-2 winner over Forrest when they last played one another on September 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell 3-1 to the Rockets on Thursday.

Spring Hill started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-21.

Hazel Slusher paced Spring Hill's offense, picking up 20 kills. Slusher got some help from Grace Kruer and her 23 assists. Kruer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Spring Hill has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season. As for Forrest, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Spring Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Loretto on the 29th. Forrest has also already played their next match (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
