Softball Recap: Warren County Takes a Loss

Warren County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 11-6 to the Fauquier Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Taylor Wrye made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Fauquier, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

As of now, neither Warren County nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
