Fremd kept a clean sheet against Wheeling on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Wildcats. Fremd's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Their offense was hitting Wheeling from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Amaia Midy led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Fremd's victory bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for Wheeling, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Fremd will head out to challenge Elk Grove at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wheeling, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 loss against Palatine on the 11th.
