There's no place like home for West Branch, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. They skirted past the Howland Tigers  2-1. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
 West Branch was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (66-62), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-21, 12-25,  25-20.
 Madilyn Hoopes paced West Branch's offense, picking up nine kills. Hoopes got some help from  Kendelle Hoopes and her 15 assists. Finally,  Audrey Ring kept West Branch's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
West Branch now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Howland, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 3-1.
 Coincidentally, West Branch and Howland will both be playing Jefferson Area the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Falcons at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 12:00  p.m.
