Everything came up roses for South Elgin against Glenbard South on Friday as the squad secured a 55-7 victory.

South Elgin's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 27 first-half points. Glenbard South countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 27-7 going into the half. South Elgin put the game away in the third quarter with 21 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 6-1. The defeat dropped Glenbard South's record to 4-3.

South Elgin will look to defend their home turf next week against Bartlett at 1:30 PM. As for Glenbard South, they will face off against Glenbard East.
