They came up short against the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots, falling 19-5. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 14 runs.

Brainerd's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-19.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Patriots beat Brainerd by a score of 18-2 later that day.
