Recap: Edmund Burke Academy Spartans vs. Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors
The Edmund Burke Academy Spartans extended their postseason success on Friday against the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors. They breezed by the Warriors at home to the tune of 35-6. The result was nothing new for Edmund Burke Academy, who have now won eight games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Grant Mobley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 112 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 90 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Edmund Burke Academy has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 11-1 record. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26 points. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
Edmund Burke Academy has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Gatewood at 5:00 p.m. on December 1st.
