Basketball Game Preview: Northview Wildcats vs. Scott Bulldogs

The Northview Wildcats and the Scott Bulldogs will compete for holiday cheer at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Northview is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Northview will head into Thursday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 28) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Whitmer out 37-34. The 37-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Scott ended up a good deal behind Ottawa Hills on Tuesday and lost 53-38.

Northview's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Scott, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Northview strolled past Scott when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 60-45. Will Northview repeat their success, or does Scott have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
