Soccer Game Preview: Saint Mary's vs. Richmond

The Saint Mary's Panthers will head out to face off against the Richmond Oilers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Saint Mary's duked it out withAlbany on Thursday. Neither Saint Mary's nor Albany could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Richmond hasn't lost a match since December 28, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Bishop O'Dowd. That draw made it three straight for the Oilers.

With that draw, Saint Mary's record moves to 5-5-2. Meanwhile, Richmond's record is now 7-2-7.

Saint Mary's came up short against Richmond in their previous meeting on January 10th, falling 2-0. Can Saint Mary's avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
