League recap: Raymond rolls against Ocosta

Raymond took down Ocosta 53-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Alex Sida ran for 134 yards in the win.

The Gulls led 2B Pacific in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on the Wildcats. Sida ran for 134 yards during the win.

Willapa Valley's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Matt Konigsberger threw for 70 and 2 touchdowns and Trevor Cook had 43 yards receiving. On the ground Cook contributed 138 yards.

Cook was a passing and rushing force as the Vikings topped Naselle.

Hunter Borden made the biggest impact on defense this week as Raymond defeated Ocosta. The 6-foot-1 senior.

Cook was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 138 yards on 17 carries as Willapa Valley bested the Comets. Seth Flemetis also contributed to the rushing game with 97 yards on the ground.

Willapa Valley's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when North Beach takes on Robert Clements' team. The Hyaks are currently in first, while the Gulls are in third.

Cook broke off the longest rushing play in 2B Pacific this week with a 69-yard run against Naselle.
