Baseball Recap: Kasson-Mantorville Comes Up Short

Kasson-Mantorville lost against Stewartville back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Komets lost 10-2 to the Tigers. The Komets just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Kasson-Mantorville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Graunke, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Grady Babcock also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Kasson-Mantorville's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Stewartville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

While Kasson-Mantorville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
