Softball Recap: Salina Central Mustangs vs. Goddard Lions
Salina Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of the Goddard Lions by a score of 6-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Salina Central of the 7-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Tuesday.
Madilynn Crough was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Turpin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
