John Paul II posted their closest win since September 16th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Golden Warrriors: when they faced off against the Eagles back in September, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

John Paul II was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 19-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-10.

The win made it two in a row for John Paul II and bumps their season record up to 9-9-2. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-13-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Paul II will square off against Trinity Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, they will challenge Ohio County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
