 Lincoln County is 1-9 against Coffee County Central since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Sunday. The Lincoln County Falcons will look to defend their home field  against the Coffee County Central Red Raiders at 2:30  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Lincoln County is headed into the  contest fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They never let Shelbyville Central onto the board and left with  a   22-0  win  on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but Lincoln County sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
  Hallie Meeks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits over five innings pitched. Meeks was also big at the plate,  going 5-for-5 with a  home run, three  doubles,  and four  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Abby Flynt was  incredible,  firing off three  home runs and eight  RBI while going 3-for-5.  Macey Widner was another key contributor,  scoring five  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Coffee County Central entered their tilt with Warren County with five consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with six. Everything went their way against the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers on Thursday as they made off with  a  13-6 victory. That's two games straight that Coffee County Central has won by  exactly seven  runs.
 Coffee County Central got a  massive  performance out of  Maggie Montgomery, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madison Pruitt, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Lincoln County pushed their record up to 19-8 with that  win, which was their 12th straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Coffee County Central, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record  this season.
 Sunday's   matchup will be a test for both team's pitchers. Lincoln County hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .381. However, it's not like Coffee County Central struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .392. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Lincoln County suffered a grim  14-0 defeat to Coffee County Central  when the teams last played  back in May of 2021. Thankfully for Lincoln County,  Keri Munn (who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched) won't be suiting up this time.
