Basketball Recap: Lourdes Takes a Loss

Lourdes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Omro Foxes, falling 77-36. The Knights lost against the Foxes in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 61-51 score last time.

Lourdes' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Omro, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

Looking ahead, Lourdes will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Wisconsin Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Lourdes is facing Central Wisconsin Christian at the right time seeing as Central Wisconsin Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Omro, they will venture away from home to take on Mayville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Omro knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully Mayville likes a good challenge.
