Lawson Posts Huge Game in 46-0 Win

Starting off the list is Marmaton Valley's Brayden Lawson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lawson threw for 164 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Lawson is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Crest on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lawson saw the Lancers), he threw for 198 yards and five touchdowns on only 13 passes.

Jensin Barker was a major factor in Crest's win over Centre on Friday. Barker was unstoppable, rushing for 68 yards and two touchdowns.

Oswego found a leader in Demitri Williamson as the squad took down Northeast on Friday. Williamson turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 50 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 22 yards and a touchdown.

On the season, Williamson has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 78.7 rushing yards per game.

Jaedon Granere Delivers Best Effort of Season

Marmaton Valley was led to victory by Jaedon Granere, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Granere wasn't messing around, picking up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The match was his fourth straight with two or more receiving touchdowns dating back to last season.

This season, Granere has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 70.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 46.2 receiving yards per game.
