Volleyball Game Preview: Sabino Sabercats vs. Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks + Official Tickets

The Sabino Sabercats will head out to challenge the Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sabino came up short against Empire last Thursday, falling 3-0. The Sabercats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Sabino was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-10, 29-27, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Andrada Polytechnic earned a 3-1 win over The Gregory School on Friday.

Andrada Polytechnic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 26-24, 25-18, 25-20.

Sabino's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Andrada Polytechnic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Sabino took their victory against Andrada Polytechnic in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sabercats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
