Softball Recap: Kenston Forest Kavaliers vs. Amelia Academy Patriots
In what's become a running theme this season, Kenston Forest gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They never let the Amelia Academy Patriots onto the board and left with a 15-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Kenston Forest as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Aubrey Mayton made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Mayton was also big at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI.
