Softball Recap: Loveland Comes Up Short

Loveland managed to slip by Pine Creek the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Wolves came up short against the Eagles on Friday, falling 12-5. The Red Wolves' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Izabelle Tilton was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Addi Christopher, who earned one run and two stolen bases.

Loveland's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Pine Creek, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, Loveland and Pine Creek will both be playing Lewis-Palmer the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Rangers at 6:40 p.m. on Friday, while the Red Wolves will play them later in the day, at 8:05 p.m.
