Volleyball Recap: Griffin Comes Up Short

Griffin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Callaway Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-11.

Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Callaway, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Griffin has already played their next match (against Spalding), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Callaway, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Morgan County on the 21st.
