Football Recap: Akron Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lewiston-Porter on Wednesday, Akron came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 12-6 to the Western New York Maritime Charter Commodores on Saturday.

Akron has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season. As for Western New York Maritime Charter, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

As of now, neither Akron nor the Commodores have any future games scheduled.
