Recap: St. John's Bluejays vs. Lincolnview Lancers
The St. John's Bluejays's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. The match between them and Lincolnview wasn't particularly close, with St. John's falling 60-46. St. John's has not had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Keira Breese continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lincolnview, almost dropping a double-double on 24 points and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Breese has scored all season. Emerson Walker was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
St. John's has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Lincolnview, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John's will take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Minster presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bluejays in Ohio (the Wildcats are ranked 86th, while the Bluejays are ranked 532nd). As for Lincolnview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Allen East is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
