Basketball Recap: Morton Ranch Comes Up Short

Morton Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost to the Jordan Warriors on the road by a 47-32 margin. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 889th, while the Warriors are ranked 223rd).

Morton Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Jordan, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10.

Morton Ranch will challenge Paetow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Morton Ranch is facing Paetow at the right time seeing as Paetow is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Jordan, they will square off against Cinco Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cinco Ranch will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Jordan surely won't give up without a fight.
