Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Milton-Union, who are still winless after their fourth match. They lost to Troy Christian at home by a decisive 58-41 margin on Tuesday. Milton-Union has struggled against Troy Christian recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The losing side was boosted by Wyatt Kimmel, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for he. Titus Copp was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Miami East's win was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Milton-Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
