It's playoff time, and Chaparral had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Arvada West Wildcats 20-0 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won six games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chaparral to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zoey Fink, who threw for 119 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards. Salem Sherman was in the mix too, providing the Wolverines with two touchdowns.

Chaparral didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Sydney Matthews led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by herself. Chloe Petrillo has been hot, having also posted six or more total tackles the last six times she's played.

Chaparral has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.3 points on average over those games. As for Arvada West, with the loss, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-3.

Chaparral didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 26-14 defeat against Legend on the 22nd. Arvada West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
