Baseball Recap: Lake Weir Hurricanes vs. Forest Wildcats
After flying high against West Port last Tuesday, Lake Weir came back down to earth. The Lake Weir Hurricanes came up short against the Forest Wildcats on Thursday, falling 15-5. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Chapter Jones was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to hits, as he's now got three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Landen Courtney was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Lake Weir's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Forest, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
